Emma Arzate – Co-owner & Founder

Hello! I’m Emma, co-owner and the founding spirit behind Detail Cleaning Services, established in 2009. My inspiration came from my mother, who always harbored a dream of being an entrepreneur. It was during my college years that she embarked on this entrepreneurial journey, and I found myself drawn into it, initially by answering calls for her.

Our company is not just about cleaning homes; it’s about finding purpose in what we do and making a meaningful impact in our community. We’ve partnered with organizations like Cleaning for a Reason and Hope for Three, enabling us to offer free cleaning services to cancer patients undergoing treatment and families with autistic children. This initiative is very personal to me. A few years after we started the company, my mother, one of the founders, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her experience reinforced my belief in the importance of our work. Knowing the challenges cancer patients face, we are committed to providing them with peace of mind by taking care of their homes, so they can focus on their health and recovery. Ino Padilla – Co-owner & CFO

Welcome to Detail Cleaning Services! I’m Ino, one of the proud owners of this family-run business. My journey to this point has been unique and fulfilling. After serving four years in the U.S. Army, I returned to Houston, uncertain about my future career path. That’s when I was presented with the incredible opportunity to join our family cleaning business.

My initial involvement soon turned into a deep passion for the company, motivating me to pursue a degree in Business Administration at the University of Houston. Graduating in 2017, I stepped into the full-time role of General Manager. My time in the military had instilled strong leadership skills, and my education at the University of Houston Bauer program equipped me with essential administrative knowledge. Together, these experiences enabled me to contribute significantly to transforming our small business into one of Houston’s finest cleaning services.

Veteran-Owned: We honor our veterans year-round by offering a one-time 15% discount, as one of our owners is an Army veteran. In appreciation of their service, we provide free cleanings to veterans every Veteran’s Day.

Your initial visit will generally be more expensive than recurring maintenance cleanings, as the first cleaning typically requires more work and effort. This effort includes hand wiping every reachable surface and removing old dirt, which distinguishes initial cleaning from maintenance cleaning by focusing on deep cleaning and addressing long-standing dirt. The cost of cleaning your home depends on several factors: the size of your home, the scope of work, the condition of your home, the frequency of service, and any additional services you might need, such as cleaning inside the refrigerator, inside windows, or dishwashing. If you have a specific task in mind, please call us directly at 832-483-5721. After your first cleaning, we will set a price for recurring cleanings, which are usually about 40% to 50% less than the initial cleaning price.

Q What do you need to do to prepare for the cleaning?

Leave the cleaning to us! You don’t have to clean before we arrive, but always recommend that you put away any dishes, and pick up as many items as you can from the floor and surfaces. This will allow us to get to as many areas, provide the best quality and keep your cleaning cost reasonable. Tidying up your home before we arrive will also allow our technicians to be more thorough and efficient. This will also protect your belongings from being damaged or misplaced during the cleaning process. If you do not have time to declutter, please let us know beforehand so we can upgrade your cleaning and pricing to allow extra time to help you with this task.
